Classroom News

I hope everybody enjoyed the long weekend.  I know I ate too much and shopped too much, but I did enjoy the time spent with my family.  I love this time of year where we can get together with family and just be thankful for all we have.

Book Fair
Foothills Book Fair will be December 3-7.  I will not be sending home any Scholastic Book Orders this month in support of the Book Fair.  Happy Shopping.  :)

i-Ready Reading
Foothills is piloting an after school reading program called i-Ready.  We are also using this in the classroom.  It helps teachers pinpoint gaps in reading and teach specific lessons.  So far, it has been going great.  If you would like more information on the i-Ready program, please let me know.

Weekly Progress Reports
I hope you are still looking for these in Friday Folders.  I am a little concerned with the amount of missing work for some of my students.  If your child is missing assignments, please let me know how I can help/support them getting things done.  Having a plan to turn in missing work will help them be lore successful next year in Middle School.
